ShareWELL Terms of Service

Effective Date: 7/23/25

Welcome to ShareWELL. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using our website, platform, and services. By accessing or using ShareWELL, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About ShareWELL

ShareWELL is a health cost-sharing community—not an insurance company, and we do not offer health insurance.

Our platform allows members to voluntarily share in one another’s eligible medical expenses, based on agreed-upon guidelines and a commitment to transparency, community, and healthy living. Participation in ShareWELL is not a contract of insurance, and we do not guarantee payment for any medical services or expenses.

2. Eligibility

To use ShareWELL, you must:

-Be at least 18 years old

-Reside in the United States

-Agree to the principles and guidelines of the ShareWELL membership community

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility or deny participation at our sole discretion.

3. Your Responsibilities

As a member or user of ShareWELL, you agree to:

-Provide accurate and truthful information during signup and usage

-Use the platform for lawful purposes only

-Not misrepresent your identity, health status, or expenses

-Respect other members and abide by our community values

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payments and Contributions

Monthly contributions are voluntary, but essential for the function of the healthsharing community. By participating, you understand that:

-You are not paying an insurance premium

-There is no contractual obligation for ShareWELL or other members to pay any particular medical expense

-Contributions are used to assist eligible needs based on the community’s published guidelines

We may use third-party payment processors. You agree to their terms and authorize ShareWELL to charge your selected payment method for recurring contributions or administrative fees.

5. No Insurance

Let’s be clear: ShareWELL is not health insurance. It is not regulated by state insurance departments, and participation does not meet the legal definition of coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

We do not promise, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the payment of medical costs, nor do we negotiate or manage healthcare provider bills on your behalf.

6. Health and Lifestyle Guidelines

ShareWELL encourages healthy living. While we do not impose religious beliefs or extreme lifestyle restrictions, certain health-related behaviors may impact eligibility for sharing (e.g., tobacco use, elective cosmetic procedures, or illegal activity). Please refer to our Member Guidelines for full details.

7. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:

-Violate these Terms

-Submit fraudulent claims or misuse the platform

-Engage in conduct that disrupts or damages the ShareWELL community

You may cancel your participation at any time by contacting our Member Support Team.

8. Disclaimers

Use of the ShareWELL platform is at your own risk.
